Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join a reputable law firm in Raleigh, North Carolina. This full-time, in-office position offers the opportunity to work directly with a team of seasoned commercial real estate attorneys and contribute to complex legal projects. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in commercial real estate transactions and title searching, along with a passion for delivering exceptional legal support.
Responsibilities
Commercial Real Estate
- Conduct title examinations and searches, reviewing and analyzing title records, easements, restrictions, and encumbrances.
- Prepare title summaries, reports, and supporting documentation.
- Assist attorneys with acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development transactions.
- Review surveys, title commitments, and related due diligence materials.
- Prepare and organize closing documents and transaction files.
- Coordinate with lenders, title companies, surveyors, clients, and outside parties to facilitate transactions.
Construction Matters
- Assist attorneys in preparing and organizing construction-related legal matters.
- Review and manage contracts, lien documentation, and project-related records.
- Maintain case files and support attorneys through various stages of legal proceedings.
Bankruptcy Litigation Support
- Assist with bankruptcy and creditors' rights matters.
- Prepare and file court documents and pleadings.
- Track deadlines and maintain litigation calendars.
- Organize discovery materials and case-related documentation.
General Paralegal Responsibilities
- Draft correspondence, legal documents, and transactional materials.
- Manage electronic and physical files.
- Perform legal research as needed.
- Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and third parties.
- Support attorneys in meeting deadlines and client objectives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-4 years of paralegal experience required, preferably on the defense side.
- Prior experience in commercial real estate transactions and title searching is required.
- Experience supporting construction law matters preferred.
- Exposure to bankruptcy litigation and creditors' rights matters preferred.
- Strong understanding of title examination and commercial real estate processes.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal practice management systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant paralegal experience.
- Advanced experience handling complex commercial real estate transactions.
- Paralegal certification or equivalent legal education.

Location: Raleigh, NC
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (In Office)
Experience Required: 3-4+ years of commercial real estate paralegal experience, including title searching.
Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 per year
